Sukta 1.63
त्वं ह त्यदिन्द्र चोदीः सखा वृत्रं यद्वज्रिन्वृषकर्मन्नुभ्नाः । यद्ध शूर वृषमणः पराचैर्वि दस्यूँर्योनावकृतो वृथाषाट् ॥
tváṃ ha tyád indra codī́ḥ sákhā vṛtráṃ yád vajrin vṛṣa-karman ubhnā́ḥ | yád dha śūra vṛṣa-maṇaḥ parācáir ví dasyū́ṃr yónāv ákṛto vṛthāṣā́ṭ ||
Tu, de fato, ó Indra, impeliste a força aliada quando, ó portador do vajra, realizador da obra poderosa, abateste Vṛtra. Quando, ó herói, forte no júbilo do poder, dispersaste os Dasyu e os lançaste ao seio da escuridão — vencedor da falsidade.
