Sukta 1.40
उप क्षत्रं पृञ्चीत हन्ति राजभिर्भये चित्सुक्षितिं दधे । नास्य वर्ता न तरुता महाधने नार्भे अस्ति वज्रिणः ॥
úpa kṣatráṃ pṛñcīt hánti rājábhir bhayé cít su-kṣitíṃ dadhé | nā́syá vartā́ ná tarutā́ mahā-dhánē nā́rbhe asti vajríṇaḥ ||
Ele fortalece o poder kṣatra; abate os reis; mesmo em meio ao medo estabelece um bom habitar. Para o Vajrin, portador do vajra, não há quem o refreie nem quem o vença — nem na grande disputa nem na pequena: a força que rompe a resistência não pode ser detida.
