वेद मासो धृतव्रतो द्वादश प्रजावतः । वेदा य उपजायते ॥
Transliteration
védā mā́só dhṛtá-vrato dvā́daśa prajā́vataḥ | védā yá upajā́yate ||
Translation
Os meses conhece o de voto firme — os doze, ricos em descendência; conhece também o que nasce depois — Varuṇa, que mede o tempo e o seu desdobrar no ordenamento da Verdade.
