उत न ईं मतयोऽश्वयोगाः शिशुं न गावस्तरुणं रिहन्ति । तमीं गिरो जनयो न पत्नीः सुरभिष्टमं नरां नसन्त ॥

utá na īṃ matáyo’śvayogā́ḥ śíśuṃ ná gā́vas tár uṇaṃ rihanti | tám īṃ gíro jánayo ná pátnīḥ surabhíṣṭamaṃ narā́ṃ nasanta ||

E que nossos pensamentos, jungidos como corcéis, o lambam e o nutram, como as vacas ao seu bezerro. A ele se achegam as palavras, como esposas ao seu senhor — o mais fragrante, o mais deleitoso entre os homens.
