ते मायिनो ममिरे सुप्रचेतसो जामी सयोनी मिथुना समोकसा । नव्यंनव्यं तन्तुमा तन्वते दिवि समुद्रे अन्तः कवयः सुदीतयः ॥
té māyíno mamire su-prá-cetasā jāmī́ sáyonī mithunā́ sam-okasā́ | návyaṃ-navyaṃ tántum ā́ tanvate diví samudré ántaḥ kaváyaḥ su-dītáyaḥ ||
Esses dois, senhores da Māyā (poder formador), mediram com lúcida consciência: parentes, de um mesmo ventre, par-unidade numa só morada. Sempre de novo estendem o fio do devir — no céu e nas profundezas do oceano; os videntes, intensamente acesos, tecem os mundos.
