पिबा सोममिन्द्र सुवानमद्रिभिः कोशेन सिक्तमवतं न वंसगस्तातृषाणो न वंसगः । मदाय हर्यताय ते तुविष्टमाय धायसे । आ त्वा यच्छन्तु हरितो न सूर्यमहा विश्वेव सूर्यम् ॥
píbā sómam indra suvā́nám adríbhiḥ kóśena siktám avatáṁ ná vaṁságaḥ tatṛṣāṇó ná vaṁságaḥ | mádāya haryatā́ya te tuvī́ṣṭamāya dhā́yase | ā́ tvā yácchantu haríto ná sū́ryam áhā víśveva sū́ryam ||
Bebe o Soma, ó Indra, espremido pelas pedras, derramado no vaso — como quem desce à nascente, como um sedento que desce. Para o teu êxtase, para a tua alegria luminosa, para o teu beber mais potente: que os corcéis fulvos te tragam aqui, como eles conduzem o Sol — através de todos os dias, como (conduzem) o Sol.
