Sukta 2
यदि॑ चि॒न्नु त्वा॒ धना॒ जय॑न्तं॒ रणे॑रणे अनु॒मद॑न्ति॒ विप्राः॑ । ओजी॑यः शुष्मिन्त्स्थि॒रमा त॑नुष्व॒ मा त्वा॑ दभन् दु॒रेवा॑सः क॒शोकाः॑
yádi cin nú tvā dhánā jáyantaṃ raṇé-raṇe anumádanti víprāḥ | ójīyaḥ śúṣmin sthirám ā́ tanuṣva mā́ tvā dabhann durévāsaḥ káśokāḥ
Yea, even if now the inspired seers applaud thee, winning prizes in battle after battle—stretch forth thyself the stronger, O vehement one, in steadfast wise: let not the ill-housed, the grief-dealing, circumvent thee.
Sim, ainda que agora os videntes inspirados te aplaudam, a ti que conquistas prêmios em batalha após batalha, estende-te mais forte ainda, ó veemente, com firmeza; que não te enganem os malfazejos, mal abrigados, os que trazem aflição.
