Observance of the Auspicious Dvādaśī Vow and the Sacred Account of the Kubjākāmra Tīrtha
Varāha (default dialogue framework; instructor voice addressing a king)
It reflects a Purāṇic ritual-ethical framework in which calendrical observances (Ekādaśī/Dvādaśī) are paired with self-discipline (sense-restraint) and formal vow-making (saṅkalpa), illustrating how practice-oriented dharma is transmitted in narrative scripture.
No specific pilgrimage site or geographic toponym is named in this verse; the reference is to Pṛthivī (Earth) as a cosmological and ethical focus rather than a particular location.
The verse emphasizes disciplined intention (saṅkalpa), restraint of the senses, and proportionate practice (yathāśaktyā—according to one’s capacity), framing observance as ethically grounded and feasible rather than coercive.
