The Birth and Marriages of the Direction-Goddesses and the Daśamī Observance
It reflects a Purāṇic cosmological idiom in which the universe is described as a brahmāṇḍa (“cosmic egg”) with vast, often hyperbolic, measures; such passages are valuable for studying Indic cosmography and its literary conventions.
No terrestrial place-name is specified; the verse refers to a cosmological boundary (the “end” of the brahmāṇḍa) rather than an identifiable historical geography.
The instruction emphasizes timely action and purposeful dwelling—“do not delay”—framed as a directive to proceed according to considered choice (svecchayā) within the cosmological order.
