The Birth of Ahaṅkāra as Guha/Skanda and His Appointment as Divine Commander
It reflects a Purāṇic method of linking philosophical categories (such as ahaṃkāra) with mythic figures, presenting cosmological doctrine through narrative genealogy addressed to a royal interlocutor.
No geographic location is specified in this verse; the focus is cosmological and genealogical rather than topographical.
The verse primarily signals a pedagogical instruction—careful listening and inquiry in the transmission of cosmological knowledge—rather than a direct ethical rule.
