Kena Upanishad: Verse 2.5
इह चेदवेदीदथ सत्यमस्ति न चेदीहावेदीन्महती विनष्टिः । भूतेषु भूतेषु विचित्य धीराः प्रेत्यास्माल्लोकादमृता भवन्ति ॥५॥
इह । चेत् । अवेदीत् । अथ । सत्यम् । अस्ति । न । चेत् । इह । अवेदीत् । महती । विनष्टिः । भूतेषु । भूतेषु । विचित्य । धीराः । प्रेत्य । अस्मात् । लोकात् । अमृताः । भवन्ति ॥५॥
iha ced avedīd atha satyam asti na ced ihāvedīn mahatī vinaṣṭiḥ | bhūteṣu bhūteṣu vicitya dhīrāḥ pretyāsmāl lokād amṛtā bhavanti ||5||
Jeśli ktoś poznał Go tutaj, to jest to prawdą, cel jest spełniony. Jeśli ktoś nie poznał Go tutaj, jest to wielka strata. Rozpoznawszy Go w każdym istnieniu, mędrcy, opuszczając ten świat, stają się nieśmiertelnymi.
If one has known (That) here, then it is true (i.e., the aim is fulfilled). If one has not known (It) here, there is great loss. Having discerned (That) in each and every being, the wise, departing from this world, become immortal.
