Recitation with translationAvadhuta Upanishad 4

tasya priyaṃ śiraḥ kṛtvā modo dakṣiṇapakṣakaḥ | pramoda uttaraḥ pakṣa ānando goṣpadāyate ||4||

Czyniąc 'Priya' swoją głową, 'Moda' swoim prawym skrzydłem, a 'Pramoda' lewym skrzydłem, 'Ānanda' staje się dla niego jak ślad krowy, niezmiernie mała.

Making ‘Priya’ his head, ‘Moda’ the right wing, ‘Pramoda’ the left wing, ‘Ānanda’ becomes (for him) like the footprint of a cow (i.e., very small).

Ānanda-taratamya (gradation of bliss) and transcendence even of experiential bliss in Brahman-knowledgeMahavakya: Indirect: points beyond experiential states to the non-dual ground indicated by mahāvākyas (Brahman as not an object of enjoyment).AtharvaChandas: Anuṣṭubh (śloka)
