Recitation with translationAvadhuta Upanishad 2

akṣaratvād vareṇyatvād dhṛtasaṃsārabandhanāt | tattvamasyādilakṣyatvād avadhūta itīryate ||2||

Ponieważ zrealizował Niezniszczalne, ponieważ jest godny najwyższego wyboru, ponieważ odrzucił pęta saṃsāry i ponieważ jest samym przedmiotem odniesienia powiedzeń takich jak 'Ty jesteś Tym', dlatego nazywany jest Awadhūtą.

Because of (his realization of) the Imperishable, because of being worthy of choice (the highest), because he has cast off the bondage of worldly existence, and because he is the referent of statements such as “That thou art”—he is called an Avadhūta.

Akṣara/Brahman-realization and mokṣa (freedom from saṃsāra-bandha)Mahavakya: Explicitly invokes ‘tat tvam asi’ (Chāndogya) as a defining pointer to non-dual identity-knowledge.AtharvaChandas: Anuṣṭubh (śloka)
