तमु ष्टवाम य इमा जजान विश्वा जातान्यवराण्यस्मात् । इन्द्रेण मित्रं दिधिषेम गीर्भिरुपो नमोभिर्वृषभं विशेम ॥

Transliteration

tám u stavāma yá imā́ jajā́na víśvā jātā́ny ávarāṇy asmā́t | índreṇa mitráṃ didhiṣema gī́rbhir úpo námo-bhir vṛ́ṣabhaṃ víśema ||

Translation

Jego chcemy uwielbiać, tego, który wydał te światy i wszystko, co zrodzone poniżej. Z Indrą możemy ustanowić przyjaźń naszymi natchnionymi słowami; z aktami czci możemy wejść w moc Byka i w niej trwać.
