Sukta 8.41
अस्मा ऊ षु प्रभूतये वरुणाय मरुद्भ्योऽर्चा विदुष्टरेभ्यः । यो धीता मानुषाणां पश्वो गा इव रक्षति नभन्तामन्यके समे ॥
asmā ū ṣu prabhūtaye varuṇāya marudbhyo 'rcā viduṣṭarebhyaḥ | yo dhītā mānuṣāṇāṃ paśvo gā iva rakṣati nabhantām anyake same ||
Jemu - tak, ku rozległości - śpiewajcie hymn: Varuṇie i Marutom, najmędrzejszym mocom; Temu, który jako ustanawiający myśl w ludziach strzeże stad jak krów - niech moce zajaśnieją w innej, wyższej jedności.
