Sukta 5.74
अस्ति हि वामिह स्तोता स्मसि वां संदृशि श्रिये । नू श्रुतं म आ गतमवोभिर्वाजिनीवसू ॥
ásti hí vām ihá stotā́ smási vāṃ saṃdṛ́śi śríye | nū́ śrutáṃ má ā́ gatam ávobhir vājinīvasū ||
Oto zaprawdę macie chwaliciela; jesteśmy wasi dla wizji i blasku. Teraz, usłyszawszy nasze wezwanie, przyjdźcie do mnie ze swą pomocą, o panowie pełni siły.
Direct invitation to come with aid; could function as a key ‘ā yātam’ style summoning in Aśvin praise
Śrī as harmony-fullness, Saṃdṛś as integrative vision, Vāja as force-plenitude
Right relation (we are yours) + right hearing/response establishes the ordered interchange between human and divine.
The call is heard when it is true; response manifests as effective help.
Descent of force into form: vājinī as embodied power supporting manifestation of vision.
Mantric psychology: praise as alignment that opens to descent of help (anugraha-like).
dawn
Dawn-arrival = emergence of clarity; medicine/help = restoring balance in the instrument; śrī = inner beauty and harmony.
Receptivity to help: cultivate the ‘stotā’—the inner voice of aligned aspiration; invite vision (saṃdṛś) and śrī (harmonious radiance).
ājñā (vision)
Inhale on ‘asti hi vām iha’, exhale on ‘nū śrutam me ā gatam’; feel ‘ā gatam’ as the descent on exhale-rest.
Receptive, quietly luminous, supported.
After chanting, sit 2–3 minutes in listening: notice small ‘helps’—a clearer next step, a calmer nerve-current, a truer word.
Śākala accents; keep ‘ā gatam’ as a clear concluding imperative with uplifted energy.
Gentle emphasis on ‘saṃdṛśi śriye’; decisive but not harsh on ‘ā gatam’.
saṃdṛśi: anusvāra before d; keep ‘dṛ’ with vocalic ṛ, śriye: ‘śr’ cluster clean; short ‘ye’, avobhiḥ: final visarga audible before pause, vājinīvasū: long ī and ū sustained; compound as one flow
Steady, clear, inviting; end each pāda with a soft seal.
