Sukta 10.29
They have poured for him honeyed sweetness, a full measure for Indra, for his attainments are true. He has grown in wideness up to the Earth by his will and by his manly powers and energies.
The seekers pour ‘madhu’—the sweetness of Soma-delight—into Indra, i.e., they offer purified joy and essence to the illumined mind. ‘Full measure’ (pūrṇa amatram) indicates completeness: not a partial aspiration but an integral offering. Because Indra is ‘satyarādhāḥ’ (true in accomplishment), the response is sure: illumination expands the being in wideness (variman). This wideness reaches ‘to the Earth’—it permeates the embodied nature, not remaining a lofty experience only. The expansion occurs ‘by will’ (kratvā): purposeful tapas and directed action; and by ‘naryaḥ pauṃsyaiś ca’: courageous soul-force and effective vital energies transmuted into instruments of the Light.
When delight is offered in completeness and sincerity, true illumination inevitably widens consciousness and descends into embodied life. Spiritual growth is verified by wideness and effective power, not merely by inner emotion.
offering and growth, truth-based boons, expansion of being
Indra–Soma psychology: the offering of delight as fuel for illumination is a recurring Vedic yoga motif, here expressed in late-maṇḍala diction.
A compact statement of the law of exchange: offer ānanda fully, and illumination widens the whole nature down to earth-consciousness.
Receiver of Soma who expands the worlds; makes wideness victorious over limitation.
Truth-illumination that grows by being fed with delight; power to widen and embody realization.
Indra Soma libation (pūrṇa offering)

44
4 × ~11 syllables; strong concluding cadence on pāda 4 fitting ‘expansion/power’.
Full-bodied and enlarging; the line endings feel like ‘opening out’.
Elicits a felt sense of wideness in chest and breath; energizes will while keeping it aligned to truth.
Soma offering/pouring (ā sic-) to Indra; Soma rite context.
At Soma pressing/offerings; hymns of Indra’s increase and strength.
Pouring (āsic-) of Soma; recitation to invite Indra’s strengthening and widening.
Chant after cultivating a pure joy (gratitude, devotion). Then consciously ‘pour’ it into action: one decisive step aligned with truth (kratvā).
ā-√sic ‘pour’ is the offering act; madhu is delight/essence; satya-rādhāḥ: rādhah as ‘attainment/boon’ grounded in satya (truth). √vṛdh ‘grow’ expresses expansion of consciousness. variman ‘wideness’ is a key Vedic inner attainment (bṛhat/uru). kratu is decisive intelligent will (not mere ‘sacrifice’).
satya-rādhah (true attainment), variman (wideness) as spiritual expansion, kratu as intelligent will-force
Wideness that reaches Earth implies R̥ta’s fulfillment in embodied order, not only in inner heights.
Satyarādhāḥ: truth is inherently effective; illumination is not a mere idea but an accomplishing power.
Expansion of ‘worlds’ through Indra’s increase; wideness as a creative principle.
Vedic integralism (realization must descend and widen the embodied being).
Honey = ānanda; pouring = consecration; earth = physical/vital embodiment receiving wideness.
Offer a gathered sweetness of heart upward to the illumined mind; then feel wideness spreading through the whole body down to the feet.
Anāhata (sweetness) expanding to Viśuddha (truth-expression) and grounding into Mūlādhāra (earth)
Inhale imagining ‘madhu’ rising to the brow; exhale spreading ‘variman’ through the body. Chant on the exhale for 6–12 cycles.
Ānanda-supported illumination; expansive embodiment.
If power becomes aggressive, return to ‘satyarādhāḥ’: act only from what feels inwardly true and clean; let sweetness precede strength.
Keep udātta prominence on madhvó, indrā́ya, pūrṇám, satyarádhāḥ, vāvṛ́dhe; allow svarita glide after peaks for a ‘widening’ feel.
Slightly lengthen ‘pūrṇaṃ’ and ‘variman’ to embody fullness and wideness; clear caesura at |.
(madhvo): ‘dhv’ cluster—soft ‘dh’ then ‘v’, (asican): ‘c’ as ‘ch’ (palatal), light nasal ending, (satyarādhāḥ): keep ‘ty’ crisp; long ā in rā, (vāvṛdhe): long ā; retroflex ṛ, (pṛthivyāḥ): retroflex ṛ; ‘th’ aspirated
Full, resonant, widening; let the sound ‘open’ in the chest.
