Sukta 10.17
आयुर्विश्वायुः परि पासति त्वा पूषा त्वा पातु प्रपथे पुरस्तात् । यत्रासते सुकृतो यत्र ते ययुस्तत्र त्वा देवः सविता दधातु ॥
āyuḥ viśva-āyuḥ pari pāsati tvā pūṣā tvā pātu pra-pathe purastāt | yatrāsate su-kṛto yatra te yayus tatra tvā devaḥ savitā dadhātu ||
Życie, powszechne życie, otacza i chroni cię; niech Pūṣan strzeże cię na drodze naprzód, na przedzie. Tam, gdzie siedzą czyniący dobro, tam, gdzie odeszli twoi bliscy, tam niech bóg Savitṛ umieści cię, ustanowionego w prawdziwym natchnieniu ku światłu.
