yán me mánaso ná priyáṃ cákṣuṣo yán me bábhasti nábhinándati | tád duṣvápnyaṃ práti muñcāmi sapatné kā́maṃ stutvā́dáhaṃ bhidéyam ||
What is not pleasing to my mind, what my eye finds not agreeable, what manifestation of mine wins no approval—this evil-dreaming I cast back upon the rival; having praised Kāma, may I break him utterly.
Rishi: Atharvanic transmission (Kāma-cycle)
Devata: Kāma; also duṣvapnya (as the targeted affliction/omen)
Chandas: Anuṣṭubh-like
Primary: bhayankara
Secondary: raudra
