Sukta 8.39
न्यग्ने नव्यसा वचस्तनूषु शंसमेषाम् । न्यराती रराव्णां विश्वा अर्यो अरातीरितो युच्छन्त्वामुरो नभन्तामन्यके समे ॥
ny àgne návyasā vácas tanū́ṣu śáṃsam eṣām | ny arātī́ḥ rárāvṇāṃ víśvā aryó arātīr itó yúcchantv āmúro nabhantām anyaké samé ||
ਹੇ ਅਗਨੀ, ਸਾਡੇ ਤਨੂਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਵੀਂ ਰਚਨਾ ਵਾਲਾ ਵਚਨ—ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੱਚਾ ਸ਼ੰਸ—ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਕਰ। ਸ਼ੋਰ ਮਚਾਉਂਦੇ ਅੰਧਕਾਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਭ ਵੈਰਤਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਢਾਹ ਦੇ; ਆਰਯ (ਉਦਾਤ) ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵੈਰਤਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਥੋਂ ਹੰਕਾਰ ਦੇਵੇ—ਭੱਖਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਹੋਰ ਲੋਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਕਾਲੇ ਜਾਣ।
