कीरिश्चिद्धि त्वामवसे जुहावेशानमिन्द्र सौभगस्य भूरेः । अवो बभूथ शतमूते अस्मे अभिक्षत्तुस्त्वावतो वरूता ॥

kī́riś cid dhi tvām ávase juhā́veśā́nam indra sáubhagasya bhū́reḥ | ávo babhūtha śatamūte asmē abhikṣattús tvā́vato varūtā́ ||

ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਗਾਇਕ ਵੀ ਮਦਦ ਲਈ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਪੁਕਾਰਦਾ ਹੈ—ਹੇ ਇੰਦਰ, ਈਸ਼ਾਨ, ਬੇਅੰਤ ਸੌਭਾਗ ਲਈ। ਹੇ ਸ਼ਤਮੂਤੇ (ਸੌ ਸਹਾਇਤਾਵਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ), ਤੂੰ ਸਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਆਸਰਾ ਬਣਿਆ ਹੈਂ; ਤੇਰੇ ਅਧੀਨ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਧਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਲਈ ਤੂੰ ਵੁਰੂਤਾ (ਰੱਖਿਆ-ਪਹਰਾ) ਵਾਂਗ ਰਖਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ।
