अन्तर्ह्यग्न ईयसे विद्वाञ्जन्मोभया कवे । दूतो जन्येव मित्र्यः ॥
Transliteration
antár hy agna ī́yase vidvā́ñ jánmobháyā kave | dūtó janyéva mitryáḥ ||
Translation
ਕਿਉਂਕਿ, ਹੇ ਅਗਨੀ, ਤੂੰ ਅੰਦਰ ਹੀ ਚਲਦਾ-ਫਿਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ; ਹੇ ਕਵੇ, ਦੋਵੇਂ ਜਨਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਤੂੰ ਹੈਂ। ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੰਮੇ ਹੋਏ ਵਰਗਾ ਦੂਤ, ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਿੱਤਰ-ਸੁਭਾਉ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ।
