Sukta 2.39
वातेवाजुर्या नद्येव रीतिरक्षी इव चक्षुषा यातमर्वाक् । हस्ताविव तन्वे शम्भविष्ठा पादेव नो नयतं वस्यो अच्छ ॥
vā́teva ajuryā́ nadyéva rītír akṣī́ iva cákṣuṣā yātam arvā́k | hástāva iva tanvé śáṃbhaviṣṭhā pā́deva no nayataṃ vásyo áccha ||
ਹਵਾ ਵਾਂਗ ਤੇਜ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ, ਦਰਿਆ ਦੀ ਧਾਰ ਵਾਂਗ ਸਾਡੇ ਵੱਲ ਆਓ; ਦੋ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਇੱਥੇ ਆਓ। ਦੋ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਸਾਡੇ ਤਨ ਲਈ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਮੰਗਲਕਾਰੀ ਬਣੋ; ਦੋ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਚੰਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਮਾਨ ਕਲਿਆਣ ਵੱਲ ਲੈ ਚਲੋ।
