ਕ੍ਰਿਮਿਨਾਸ਼ਨ। ਚੜ੍ਹਦਾ ਆਦਿਤ੍ਯ ਕੀੜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰੇ; ਡੁੱਬਦਾ (ਨਿਮ੍ਰੋਚਨ) ਵੀ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਕਿਰਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਾਰੇ—ਉਹ ਕੀੜੇ ਜੋ ਗਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਹਨ।

The worm, all-formed, four-eyed, the speckled, the pale,—him I shatter: his ribs I break; yea, I cut away that head of his.

ਅਤ੍ਰੀ ਵਾਂਗ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਦਬਾਉਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਹੇ ਕੀੜਿਓ; ਕਣਵ ਵਾਂਗ, ਜਮਦਗਨੀ ਵਾਂਗ। ਅਗਸਤ੍ਯ ਦੇ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ-ਮੰਤਰ ਨਾਲ ਮੈਂ ਕੀੜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੁਚਲ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ—ਮੈਂ ਹੀ, ਹੇ ਕੀੜਿਓ, ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਧਰਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਦਬਾ ਕੇ ਨਾਸ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।

ਕੀੜਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਗਿਆ; ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਥਪਤੀ (ਘਰ-ਮਾਲਕ) ਵੀ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਗਿਆ। ਕੀੜਾ ਆਪ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਗਿਆ—ਉਸ ਦੀ ਮਾਂ ਵੀ ਮਾਰੀ ਗਈ, ਉਸ ਦਾ ਭਰਾ ਵੀ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਗਿਆ, ਉਸ ਦੀ ਭੈਣ ਵੀ ਮਾਰੀ ਗਈ।
