kṛtvā tu dharmasaṅkalpaṁ pretakāryaṁ viśeṣataḥ || na bhetavyaṁ tvayā putra pretakārye kṛte sati
Setelah menetapkan tekad berlandaskan dharma dan khususnya melaksanakan preta-kārya (ritus bagi yang telah wafat), wahai anak, engkau tidak perlu takut; apabila ritus itu telah dilakukan dengan sempurna, tiada lagi sebab untuk gentar.
