यत्फलं सङ्गमस्योक्तं शृणुयाद्द्वादशीव्रतम्॥ वियोनिस्थो राक्षसो वा तिर्यग्योनिं गतस्य वा॥

“Adapun hasil yang dinyatakan bagi Saṅgama, dengarkanlah: bahkan sesiapa yang hanya mendengar tentang amalan vrata Dvādaśī—sama ada ia rākṣasa yang berada dalam kelahiran yang menyimpang, atau yang terlahir dalam rahim binatang—tetap termasuk dalam cakupannya.”
