कुशिष्याय न दातव्यं ये च शास्त्रार्थदूषकाः ॥ न पठेद्गोघ्नमध्ये वै न पठेच्छठमध्यतः ॥
kuśiṣyāya na dātavyaṃ ye ca śāstrārthadūṣakāḥ || na paṭhed goghna-madhye vai na paṭhec chaṭha-madhyataḥ ||
Ajaran ini tidak wajar diberikan kepada murid yang tidak layak, dan juga bukan kepada mereka yang merosakkan makna śāstra. Jangan membacanya di tengah pembunuh lembu, dan jangan pula membacanya dalam kalangan orang yang menipu daya.
