देवाः काङ्क्षन्ति ते देव वाराहीं रूपसंस्थितिम् ॥ त्वन्नियोगनियुक्ताश्च तदर्थं लोकभावन ॥
devāḥ kāṅkṣanti te deva vārāhīṃ rūpasaṃsthitim || tvanniyoganiyuktāś ca tadarthaṃ lokabhāvana ||
Wahai Tuhan, para dewa mendambakan penzahiran dalam rupa Vārāhī (jelmaan babi hutan suci). Dan wahai pemelihara alam, mereka ditugaskan menurut perintah-Mu demi tujuan itu.
