Hymn to Varāha and Pṛthivī’s Inquiry
Prelude to the Sanatkumāra Dialogue
Pṛthivī (default dialogue framework; address to Varāha/Viṣṇu)
It reflects a Purāṇic idiom where cosmic stability is tied to amṛta and a sustaining deity, and it also highlights affective language (prīti) as a key category in later devotional and philosophical traditions.
No geographic site is identified; the verse is cosmological and theological in scope.
The verse elevates prīti (benevolent affection) as a highest value, suggesting an ethic of care and cohesion, without presenting it as coercive doctrine.
