Sukta 9.86
प्र ते मदासो मदिरास आशवोऽसृक्षत रथ्यासो यथा पृथक् । धेनुर्न वत्सं पयसाभि वज्रिणमिन्द्रमिन्दवो मधुमन्त ऊर्मयः ॥
prá te madā́so madirā́sa āśávo ’sṛkṣata rathyā́so yáthā pṛ́thak | dhenúr na vatsáṃ páyasā́bhi vajríṇam índram índavo mádhu-manta ū́rmayaḥ ||
Kegiranganmu yang pantas, wahai Soma—arus yang memabukkan—telah dilepaskan, seperti kereta-kereta yang berpecah menyusuri jalan masing-masing. Seperti lembu kepada anaknya dengan susu, gelombang-gelombang sarat madu mendesak menuju Indra, pemegang vajra (petir), untuk meneguhkan daya kemenangannya dalam diri kami.
