अग्रे सिन्धूनां पवमानो अर्षत्यग्रे वाचो अग्रियो गोषु गच्छति । अग्रे वाजस्य भजते महाधनं स्वायुधः सोतृभिः पूयते वृषा ॥

Transliteration

ágre síndhūnāṃ pávamāno arṣaty ágre vā́co agriyó góṣu gacchati | ágre vā́jasya bhajate mahā-dhánam svā́yudhaḥ sotṛ́bhiḥ pū́yate vṛ́ṣā ||

Translation

Di hadapan segala aliran, Pavamāna—yang menyucikan diri—meluru; di hadapan kalam ia bergerak, sebagai pemimpin di antara sinar-sinar pencerahan. Di hadapan juga ia memperoleh kepenuhan kekuatan dan harta yang besar; bersenjata dengan dirinya sendiri, Yang Perkasa dimurnikan oleh para pemerah (sotṛ)—agar jiwa mendahului kegelapan.
