एष सूर्येण हासते पवमानो अधि द्यवि । पवित्रे मत्सरो मदः ॥
Transliteration
eṣá sū́ryeṇa hāsate pávamāno ádhi dyávi | pavítre matsaró mádaḥ ||
Translation
Soma ini, tatkala menyucikan, tertawa bersama Surya di atas dyau—langit batin; di atas pavitra (penapis) ia menjadi matsara dan mada: raptur dan mabuk suci—ekstasi yang mendorong menuju Satya.
