Transliteration

nānā́naṃ vā́ u no dhíyo ví vratā́ni jánānām | tákṣā riṣṭáṃ rutáṃ bhiṣág brahmā́ sunvántam icchatī́ndrāyéndo párī srava ||

Translation

Berbagai-bagai sungguh fikiran kami, berbagai-bagai pula adat dan jalan manusia. Tukang kayu mencari kayu yang retak; tabib mencari penyakit; brahmana mencari si pemerah soma—wahai Indu, mengalirlah mengelilingi bagi Indra.
