Sukta 8.88
प्र हि रिरिक्ष ओजसा दिवो अन्तेभ्यस्परि । न त्वा विव्याच रज इन्द्र पार्थिवमनु स्वधां ववक्षिथ ॥
prá hí ririkṣá ójasā divó ántebhyaḥ párí | ná tvā vivyāca rája indra pārthivám ánu svadhā́ṃ vavakṣitha ||
Kerana dengan keperkasaanmu engkau telah melompat melampaui batas-batas terjauh langit. Tiada alam bumi dapat melingkungimu, wahai Indra; engkau memikul dan menegakkan hukum wujudmu sendiri menurut daya aslimu (svadhā).
