Sukta 8.60
आ नो अग्ने वयोवृधं रयिं पावक शंस्यम् । रास्वा च न उपमाते पुरुस्पृहं सुनीती स्वयशस्तरम् ॥
ā́ no agne vayo-vṛ́dhaṃ rayíṃ pāvaka śáṃsyam | rāśvā ca na upa-māte puru-spṛ́haṃ su-nī́tī sváyaśas-taram ||
Bawalah kepada kami, wahai Agni, rayi yang menambah pertumbuhan hidup—wahai penyuci—yang layak diteguhkan oleh jiwa. Dan kurniakan juga kepada kami, wahai pengukur yang dekat, kekayaan yang amat didambakan: sunīti (bimbingan yang baik) dan kemuliaan yang lebih terserlah dari diri sendiri.
