उपह्वरे गिरीणां संगथे च नदीनाम् । धिया विप्रो अजायत ॥

upa-hvaré girīṇā́ṃ saṃ-gathé ca nadī́nām | dhiyā́ vípro ajāyata ||

Di lipatan-dekat gunung-ganang dan di pertemuan sungai-sungai, sang resi dilahirkan oleh daya penglihatan batin; ilham bangkit di tempat ketinggian dan arus yang mengalir bertemu dalam jiwa.
