Sukta 8.3
कण्वा इव भृगवः सूर्या इव विश्वमिद्धीतमानशुः । इन्द्रं स्तोमेभिर्महयन्त आयवः प्रियमेधासो अस्वरन् ॥
kaṇvā́ iva bhṛ́gavaḥ sū́ryā iva víśvam íd dhītám ānaśuḥ | índraṃ stómebhir maháyanta ā́yavaḥ priyá-medhāso asvaran ||
Seperti kaum Kaṇva, seperti kaum Bhṛgu, seperti Surya, mereka—dengan penglihatan yang tertumpu—mencapai seluruhnya. Membesarkan Indra dengan himpunan puji-pujian, kaum Āyu, kaya dengan medhā yang dikasihi, melaungkan seruan dalam suara ilham.
