अनु पूर्वाण्योक्या साम्राज्यस्य सश्चिम । मित्रस्य व्रता वरुणस्य दीर्घश्रुत् ॥
Transliteration
ánu pū́rvāṇy okyā́ sām-rā́jyasya saścima | mitrásya vratā́ váruṇasya dīrghá-śrut ||
Translation
Mengikuti asas-asas purba dan tempat kediaman kedaulatan yang sejati, kami berpegang teguh pada hukum-hukum Mitra dan pada titah Varuṇa yang jauh didengar, yang berkekalan—agar pemerintahan ṛta (kebenaran kosmik) ditegakkan dalam diri kami.
