वयमु त्वामपूर्व्य स्थूरं न कच्चिद्भरन्तोऽवस्यवः । वाजे चित्रं हवामहे ॥
Transliteration
vayám u tvā́m apūrvyá sthūráṃ na kác cid bháranto 'vasyávaḥ | vā́je citráṃ havāmahe ||
Translation
Kami, memohon lindungan-Mu, menyeru Engkau—yang sentiasa baharu—sambil membawa persembahan bagaikan penopang yang teguh, tidak pernah gagal; dan demi vāja (kelimpahan daya), kami memanggil kuasa-Mu yang gemilang dan beraneka.
