यदग्ने कानि कानि चिदा ते दारूणि दध्मसि । ता जुषस्व यविष्ठ्य ॥
Transliteration
yád agne kā́ni kā́ni cidā́ te dā́rūṇi dádhmasi | tā́ juṣasva yáviṣṭhya ||
Translation
Apa pun, wahai Agni, serpih-serpih kayu bakar yang kami letakkan ke dalam dirimu—betapa pun kecilnya—terimalah itu, wahai yang termuda dan sentiasa diperbaharui; terimalah bahan kami yang tidak sempurna dan jadikan layak bagi nyala pertumbuhan.
