Sukta 7.61
समु वां यज्ञं महयं नमोभिर्हुवे वां मित्रावरुणा सबाधः । प्र वां मन्मान्यृचसे नवानि कृतानि ब्रह्म जुजुषन्निमानि ॥
sám u vāṃ yajñáṃ mahayaṃ námo-bhir huvé vāṃ mitrā́varuṇā sa-bā́dhaḥ | prá vāṃ mánmāny ṛcáse návāni kṛtā́ni bráhma jujuṣann imā́ni ||
Dengan persembahan hormat aku membesarkan yajña kamu; aku menyeru kamu, Mitra dan Varuṇa, dengan dorongan hasrat yang tidak terbahagi. Ke hadapan kamu kuhamparkan bagi ṛc (nyanyian puji) ini bentuk-bentuk baharu dari fikiran; terimalah mantra-mantra ini sebagai Brahman—Sabda yang berkesan—yang telah kami jadikan.
