Sukta 7.29
उतो घा ते पुरुष्या इदासन्येषां पूर्वेषामशृणोॠषीणाम् । अधाहं त्वा मघवञ्जोहवीमि त्वं न इन्द्रासि प्रमतिः पितेव ॥
utó ghā́ te puruṣyā̀ íd āsan yéṣāṃ pū́rveṣām áśṛṇo ṛ́ṣīṇām | ádhāháṃ tvā maghavan johavīmi tváṃ na indrāsi prámatíḥ pitā́iva ||
Dan sesungguhnya milik-Mulah pertolongan-pertolongan insan itu, bagi para rsi terdahulu yang Engkau dengarkan. Maka kini aku menyeru-Mu, wahai yang pemurah: Engkaulah bagi kami, wahai Indra, bimbingan yang memelihara dan pertimbangan yang bijaksana, seperti seorang bapa.
