Sukta 7.1
त्वमग्ने सुहवो रण्वसंदृक्सुदीती सूनो सहसो दिदीहि । मा त्वे सचा तनये नित्य आ धङ्मा वीरो अस्मन्नर्यो वि दासीत् ॥
tvám agne suhávo raṇvásandṛk sudītī́ sūno sahaso didīhi | mā tvé sacā tánaye nítya ā́ dhak mā vī́ro asmán naryó ví dāsīt ||
Engkau, wahai Agni, mudah diseru, memandang yang menyenangkan, dan bernyala terang; wahai Putera Kekuatan (sahasas sūnu), menyalah-nyalalah. Janganlah Engkau membakar habis zuriat yang sentiasa berpaut padamu; jangan biarkan daya vīra—kekuatan insan (narya) dalam diri kami—terputus dan berserak.
