सा वह योक्षभिरवातोषो वरं वहसि जोषमनु । त्वं दिवो दुहितर्या ह देवी पूर्वहूतौ मंहना दर्शता भूः ॥

Transliteration

sā́ vaha yókṣabhir avā́toṣo váraṃ váhasi jóṣam ánu | tváṃ divó duhitár yā́ ha devī pū́rvahūtau maṃhánā darśatā́ bhūḥ ||

Translation

Wahai Uṣas (Fajar), bawalah ia ke mari dengan kuda-kudamu; engkau mengusung kurnia pilihan menurut kerelaan dan sukacita. Engkaulah Puteri Dyaus (Langit), dewi yang sejak dahulu diseru; engkau menjadi pemurah dan nyata pada penglihatan kami.
