आ नो रुद्रस्य सूनवो नमन्तामद्या हूतासो वसवोऽधृष्टाः । यदीमर्भे महति वा हितासो बाधे मरुतो अह्वाम देवान् ॥

ā́ no rudrásya sū́navo namantām adyá hūtā́so vásavo 'dhṛṣṭāḥ | yad ī́m árbhe mahátī vā hitā́so bā́dhe marúto áhvāma devā́n ||

Semoga putra-putra Rudra, para Vasu, menunduk kepada kami pada hari ini—dipanggil, tidak tertahan. Sama ada dalam kesukaran kecil atau besar, apabila kami diserang oleh halangan, kami menyeru para Marut sebagai dewa-dewa untuk membantu kami.
