Sukta 6.29
एवेदिन्द्रः सुहव ऋष्वो अस्तूती अनूती हिरिशिप्रः सत्वा । एवा हि जातो असमात्योजाः पुरू च वृत्रा हनति नि दस्यून् ॥
evéd índraḥ suháva ṛ́ṣvo astū́tī anū́tī hiriśipráḥ sátvā | evā́ hí jā́to asamāti-ojā́ḥ purū́ ca vṛtrā́ hanati ní dasyū́n ||
Demikianlah, semoga Indra benar menjadi yang mudah diseru, yang luhur—bantuan kami dan bantuan yang berulang—dia yang berjanggut keemasan, sang makhluk perkasa. Kerana demikianlah, lahir dengan daya yang tidak terkalahkan, ia menewaskan banyak Vṛtra dan menundukkan para Dasyu.
