Sukta 6.24

न यं जरन्ति शरदो न मासा न द्याव इन्द्रमवकर्शयन्ति । वृद्धस्य चिद्वर्धतामस्य तनूः स्तोमेभिरुक्थैश्च शस्यमाना ॥

ná yaṃ járanti śarádo ná māsā́ ná dyā́va índram avakarśáyanti | vṛ́ddhasya cid vardhatām asya tanū́ḥ stómebhir uktháiś ca śasyámānā ||

Musim-musim tidak melunturkan baginda, juga bulan-bulan; hari-hari tidak menarik Indra ke bawah. Bahkan bagi Yang telah membesar dan tua, semoga tubuh-kekuasaannya bertambah—dipuji dan dizahirkan oleh stoma, uktha, dan ujaran-ujaran suci.
