Sukta 6.19
यस्ते मदः पृतनाषाळमृध्र इन्द्र तं न आ भर शूशुवांसम् । येन तोकस्य तनयस्य सातौ मंसीमहि जिगीवांसस्त्वोताः ॥
yás te mádaḥ pṛtanāṣā́ḷ amṛ́dhra índra táṃ na ā́ bhara śūśuvā́ṃsam | yéna tokásya tánayasya sātáu maṃsī́mahi jigīvā́ṃsas tvāūtā́ḥ ||
Wahai Indra, bawakanlah kepada kami madamu yang tidak tersasar, yang menaklukkan pertempuran—semangat yang kian memuncak. Dengannya kami hendak memenangi perolehan bagi anak dan kesinambungan zuriat; dan, dilindungi olehmu, kami tetap sentiasa menang.
