स हि धीभिर्हव्यो अस्त्युग्र ईशानकृन्महति वृत्रतूर्ये । स तोकसाता तनये स वज्री वितन्तसाय्यो अभवत्समत्सु ॥

Transliteration

sa hí dhībhír havyó asty ugrá īśāna-kṛ́n mahátī vṛtra-tū́rye | sa tókā-sātā tánaye sa vajrī́ vitantasā́yyo abhavat samát-su ||

Translation

Kerana dia sungguh patut diseru oleh daya fikir; dialah Yang Menggerunkan, pembuat penguasaan dalam pertempuran besar melawan Vṛtra. Dia memenangi anak dan zuriat; dia, pemegang daya-guruh (vajrī), menjadi pemenang yang menjangkau jauh dalam pertembungan.
