नाना ह्यग्नेऽवसे स्पर्धन्ते रायो अर्यः । तूर्वन्तो दस्युमायवो व्रतैः सीक्षन्तो अव्रतम् ॥
Transliteration
nānā́ hí agne ávase spárdhante rā́yo aryáḥ | tū́rvanto dásyum ā́yavo vratáiḥ sīkṣánto avratám ||
Translation
Beraneka ragam sungguh, wahai Agni, perjuangan kaum Arya demi pertolongan-Mu dan demi kelimpahan; menekan bala Dasyu yang penuh tipu-daya, para pencari—dengan vrata (hukum-ritus)—mendisiplinkan yang tanpa-vrata.
